  1. I need help. My dog had an amputation 3 weeks ago of her left front leg. She seemed to be doing well. 2 1/2 weeks ago she had chemo. After the chemo she had nausea and gut issues from day 2-10. She started acting weirdly during this time. Anxious, panting, unable to settle. Despite not being nauseus and the surgery site healing she continues these heightened anxious behaviors. She is acting like a dog on a lot of steroids-At times it looks like something upsets her too and she tries to hide and then shakes it off. I don’t know what is happening inside her-She is only taking 300 mg of Gabepentin at night–and a whole lot of holistic stuff. I have an appt. to talk to a vet about possible phantom pain tomorrow. I have canceled her next chemo because she just isn’t right. Without the chemo they gave her 4 months. She has Osteosarcoma. I need help–Has this happened to anyone elses dog? Can anyone help me please?
